I found it to be a good experience. Took a little longer than I expected. I did appreciate that there was no hesitation to make sure I was contacted when the vehicle I wanted was returned by another customer after being purchased while I was on the phone inquiring about the same vehicle. It would have been nice to have received it cleaned and fully gassed up prior to my receiving it..the way previous customer received it, instead of it feeling like I was just handed a return by someone else.
There was a misunderstanding about whether my car was inspected before they sold it to me so I didn’t get my plates. I come to find out that had not been inspected. I was contacted by Steve from the dealership. They managed to get my car inspected replaced my windshield and fixed several more things at no cost to me. He also gave me a full tank of gas. While there has been a lot of turnover there (including both of the salesmen I bought my cars from AND many of the service advisors that I have worked with - there has been one constant. Jeremy Ford. Car was in for 50K inspection, top to bottom. Didn’t cost me anything and they didn’t try to convince me everything needed fixing. They paid for an Uber to the store so I didn’t have to wait around at the dealer. Car was ready sooner than predicted.
The customer service is great especially Don, warm and friendly smile maintaining professionalism at the same time.
Service dept is very unprofessional. My EV was there for more than month and communication was the worst. When I complained to my service advisor (Cortez) about how long it was taking for my car to be fixed and asked to speak to the service manager…….he tried to transfer me to the sales department. Service department has serious issues. Customer service was poor. Final amount was not right & paperwork was wrong.
Everyone was so welcoming and warm as soon as you step in the door! I never felt pressured or being upsold on extras which was amazing!
Explained the whole process of the car. Videos of the report was created too and constant communication was excellent.
Prompt and professional service! They provided thorough maintenance on my older Kia to keep her running smoothly! My service person Lauryn is perfect. It feels like she’s working for her own car. She is wonderful. I don’t know what she makes but I was giving up on this Kia until she showed up. She’s a pleasant human. Just a gem.
Took my vehicle for a front brake service. Lauryn, my service advisor was very attentive and informed me of the process and mechanic recommendations. Even offered a ride to my home in Annapolis instead of having to wait. The only issue that I have is the discrepancy on the price listed for this service when I made the appointment on line, $299, and the price initially quoted on the phone and charged, $347. Not related to my visit but to the Kia of Bowie title above it should be “Se habla español”

I have purchased two Kia’s from Kia of Bowie and have been happy with the dealership and (for the most part) the service department. There have been some slips of late and some not paying attention to details that could have resulted in additional problems. I cannot say enough about Jeremy - he is a rock star at Kia of Bowie and the only one that I prefer working with and the only one that I trust with my vehicles

Trying to decide if I should start with “amazing” or “awesome” to begin this review. Laura in the Service department worked with me on determining best options to address maintenance issues. She kept me informed of repair status and timelines. Top that off with arranging Lyft from the dealership to my house and back to the dealership to pickup up my car after servicing was complete. I give her a 10 out of 10 for service.

I have come to the dealership 3 times for the same repair. They said they ordered the wrong part and also the part they ordered was faulty. And still after 3 visits, my driver's side airbag doesn't work.
I explained my concerns upon arrival, only for the advisor to basically tell me that my car was ready withOUT fixing what I had addressed, the lady at the desk also is not personable and had an attitude

The only reason we stayed was we we needed a car and this dealership was 1 of 2 that had the car we were looking for, and Amy was very helpful. The advertised price of the car was apparently incorrect on the website and the dealer discount was apparently listed wrong on the website. My oil change was scheduled for 11:30. I got to service department early. Was surprised to learn it would take one to two hours for an oil change. At 2.5 of waiting, I questioned what was taking so long. The person who checked me in looked at me like he had never seen me before and asked me my name. He then told me “15-20 more minutes”. At three hours I was finally given my keys. Absolutely way too long. Will go to Jiffy Lube going forward.

I scheduled my kia niro for maintenance at kia of Bowie for 8:15 am appointment. I was informed if I was leaving the dealership it would be ready by noon. By 12:10 I had not received a call so I tried to call the service department to check the status of my vehicle. Multiple calls went unanswered to the ENTIRE dealership. On July 11, 2025, my car was serviced at Kia of Bowie. Immediately following the service (112,500 Mile Service check fuse for radio), I observed sluggish acceleration and a pronounced clunking noise when shifting into reverse. However, the Service Department was closed, and I had to drive my vehicle home. On July 12, 2025, I returned the vehicle to the service center, where the team was unable to perform further diagnostics until Monday, July 14, 2025.
